Saturday was a long day starting with the Body World Exhibit, bridal shower, shopping, eating then we headed to Temple Square with everyone that lived in Utah I swear! There were people everywhere and you could hardly move. I guess they were all tired of Wal Mart! David and Bonnie were down from Mountain Home Idaho with their nine children for Thanksgiving. The lights were amazing and I loved how they had Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus floating in the reflection pound. They had little glass jars with lights in them to look like candles that were floating around the statues. The shepherds were on both sides of the pound set up on the grass. It was a nice night and was really not all that cold. Then we went home so I could put together 2 homade soups and a quilt for Emy Sue. Here are some pictures of the family!

Im Pooped!

This is the first year that I had made the stuffing and cranberries
homemade. I had some Lehi Mills white wheat and got out my
wheat grinder and made 5 loaves of bread and broke them
into little bite size pies. Then I let them dry out for 2 weeks
before I made the stuffing. It was the best ever and I made
24 cups of fresh dressing. That was the first time I have done
that and also made the cranberries. We also tried a new mash
potatoes recipe it had garlic and Parmesan cheese. The food
was really good and my family all helped bring pies, rolls,
salads and slush. I made little cornucopia out of sugar cones,
tied ribbons around the top and filled them with candy runts
to look like little fruit. I placed them at every one's plate.
We had twenty people come. My nephew Russell came
or his wife was down in California with her family and
he had to stay behind for he had to work this weekend.
We were so happy to have him come for we never get to
see him now that he is married.

Twilight. . . this is after the movie....is she in
twilight zone? Am and her friends got tickets
to the 2:40 a.m. movie. The tickets said Thursday
and so they showed up early Thursday morning
knowing that the movie did not start till
midnight that night but the ticket said Thursday.
So they decided to go anyway and after standing
in line a worker at the Juntion came out and
told them that their ticket was wrong and they
would have to come back Friday morning! SO
they went back Friday morning and had a talk
with the manager and got free popcorn and a
free movie pass! So this is what Am looked like all day Friday.

What the HECK is a tag?

Well sorry Joni for I do not know what the heck a tag is! But from the looks of the others you tagged I am grateful I didn't know what was going on and I am also grateful that most of my friends (except the Thomas Gang) do not know what the HECK blogging is....ha ha Hows that for being so grateful?
