Sunflowers

This summer I took a basic photography class at WSU and I loved it. This class has made me sit back and really look at detail, light and the simple things that we forget to appreciate in life. Wednesday I came home from work and Ambree had picked some sunflowers and ohter flowers from our yard and arranged them in a vase for me to make my day brighter. As Mike and I were sitting at the table eating dinner I really looked closely at the detail in these amazing flowers and YES grabed my camera! I loved what the chandeler light was doing with these flowers. Sunflowers are Ambree's most favorite flower of all and so I decided to print some up to go in her sunflower bathroom. This is how they turned out.

Elder Robert Furlong

August 13, Elder Robert Furlong entered the MTC to serve the Lord for two years. Rob will be heading to New York, New York South mission September 1st. Ambree is planning on waiting for Rob and while doing so she is hoping to finish her generals and prerequisites to apply for Dental Hygiene. Am and Rob met at Studio 600 General Conference weekend in October. Ambree is excited to be supporting Rob and to be running out to the mailbox looking for letters! Our mail lady use to put the letter on top of the mail, then double honk for the family inside the house so they would know that there is a letter from someone special far away! So we shall see if that still happens.

Brayden's Farewell

Elder Hancock

Brayden and his mom Traci

Brayden, Blake, Roger
(my lit'l brother) Bryant,
Brennan & Traci Hancock

Here are my four nephew's. Their mom wanted me to
take their picturesand well they were very hard to take with
the faces they were pulling so I took a picture of their legs.
I really like the way it turned out! What do you think?

The Pier at Puget Sound

All over the Pier are flowers. I could not help myself
so I started talking pictures of the flowers that I love. You could buy the biggest bouquets
of flowers for so cheap. The streets are filled with flower baskets.

If you have fish & food you have seagulls!

Man balancing his guitar for money.

Brennan & Brayden

My sweet little nephew Brennan, he bought flowers for his mom.

A girl buying fish and when someone buys fish the show begins for then the worker throughs the fish in the air and the man that wraps the fish catches it and gets it ready to take home.
Here is the fish being thrown up to the other workers.

The Farmers Market was fun and they had tons of flowers in there and fresh fish.

The city was so pretty with flower baskets!

Belly to butt with people!

Some more hanging baskets

Cruise ship on the Puget Sound

I had so much fun watching this little girl run after the seagulls at the port. She had the biggest eyes and smile!

I was playing with my camera with this waterfall

All the way to Seatle to eat at McDounlds?
Not me

Here is one of the ships that bring in the fish

The sea is my favorite of all!

My brother Gene wife Linda and daughter Angee. We came up together for Brayden's farewell.

My New Car!

Mike bought me a new car! With gas prices
we got rid of the van and bought a Ford
Focus SES and I love it! I have blue tooth
so I can talk and drive...pretty cool huh.

Here is what the back looks
like. I have a sun roof too!
At night I have five colors
to choose from pending on my mood and it looks cool
at night driving. So if I have red on when you drive
bye me look out! It means I am mad. . . ha ha

Ambree's & Rob's 19th Birthday Surprise

Ambree turned 19 on July 19th and so we surprised her with a skydive trip. Rob's turned 19
July 21st so we could not leave him on the ground to watch so we let him jump with Am. Rob
was in on helping us surprise Am but he did not know he was going to jump with her! Both of
the families came to watch them jump and to make sure they were safe.
Here they are getting ready to leave. Am jumped with Ryan and here she is
saying good-bye.
There goes Rob. Am being brave to jump and right as they were to jump Ryan
told Am to cross her arms and put her head on his shoulder and as they jumped
Ryan did a back flip jump with Ambree not knowing what he was up to!
Ryan & Am in the air. The camera man captured some great pictures.
Here is Rob jumping with his little man. We were worried for Rob was a whole head and
shoulder taller then Tom.

Here comes Rob and then Ambree landing on the ground and the both of them safe
and sound. This was an awesome 19th birthday for the both of them and one that they
will never forget.
