I have stayed in a shoe!

This is one of the beach houses that the Nebeker's own.
Dr Nebeker bought this house by the water towers for
$500 and Mike's brother Troy helped him restore it for
guest when they come up to stay.
Carolyn Nebeker has always wanted a Shoe House and
for many years we were able to stay in the Shoe House
for our summer vacations.

Here is the side of the Shoe and it has four levels inside.
It looks small but it is very roomy inside. Carolyn son has
taken the Shoe for his family to stay in now and so we
now stay in the restored house.

Here is the lady that had the Shoe built. Carolyn is talking
to Mike and Ambree.

Russell, Sean in front and Angie and Colton in the back

Ambree on the four wheeler. Angie on the bottom she
lives Evanston, WY
This is what the beach house looked like inside
Here is Mike and Ambree on the back porch looking at the Lake

Here is the kitchen...now dosen't that table set take some of you back a few years?

Mike, Ambree and I all stayed on the other side of the porch.
This is what it looked like on our side. The couch is a hide a
bed and it was neat to sleep on the porch and hear the waves
at night and see the stars! This was a fun trip for we have spent
many years up here in July and most of the time on or around
Ambree's and Ryan's birthdays. We would always bring up the
cake which Am always picked out a princess cake so Ryan had
to have the prince of that year. He was a good sport. We miss
the good ole days and especially having Pat up there with us.

On Am's birthday we went to church and had her birthday dinner then we took a break for a while. Weber State was having their annual firework show and we decided to go to it. Alisha came down from Provo to spend the night and Am's birthday with her. Alisha is from Kent Washington and Am met her while she was up there for EFY. We were right by where they launched them and we laid down to watch them. I did not have my tripod but I held my camera on my chest to keep it still. These are the pictures of the end of the show!

Happy Birthday Am!

Our church starts at nine in the morning and so I had to go wake up the girls and give Am her birthday present. I could not wait to give it to her.

Here is Alisha telling me NO don't take my picture but I am camera happy and I can't help it!

Here is Ambree opening her present from Mike and I. We got her a Eee Net book and that is why I could not wait to give it to her for she will leave my laptop alone! YEA but it is so cute and she can take it to college with her and it is very light weight.

Well I guess that huge smile tells me that she likes it!

Ambree turns 20 years old!

For Ambree's birthday she just wanted to invite just friends and her grandparents. Rob's sister Emily, mom Doreen and dad David also came to her party. We ate at Red Robin and had a great time. We had to celebrate a day early for Am's birthday this year was on Sunday. In the top picture is Hailey, Alisha, Am & Shannon.
Ambree's friend's that are married came with their husbands. On the end wall is Camile and Andrew  & across from them is Em & Ryan sitting next to David Furlong.
Up at Snowbasin waiting for a family to arrive to take pictures. I had to get my settings set and I was playing in the manual mode and Am had to be my model. As you can tell she really loved the idea on the bottom! The one on the bottom was Am's favorite pose when she was little. I thought that she would out grow it....guess not.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house

This summer has been fun going to two Temple open houses. The Oquirrh Temple is a lot like the Draper Temple. It was standing in the middle of no where and was beautiful to see.
Angel Moroni was struck by lightning and when this happen there were cars and cars full of people driving by to see what the lightning did to Moroni. His face, arm and horn were burnt black. I tried to zoom in as close as I could. It was cool to see!
Launi, Ryan & Em, Am & Bridger and Lee on the end. We all went into the tent to watch a dvd of the temple.
Am's best little buddy, Bridger.
When we came out of the Temple it was dark. The Temple was so pretty all lit up and looking out in the valley to see the veiw was breath taking. You could see the Draper Temple on the mountain.

I was having fun with my camera and the fountains. They would of been sharper if I had my tripod but they aren't that bad. It was fun trying but the water behind Am is totally blown out!

The fountains were so pretty at night.
